The Hotel
Panoramic is a small, comfortable hotel nestled in the green of the Tuscan
countryside. Perched on the summit of a hill (600 m), the hotel faces the
beautiful town of Montepulciano, also known as the "Pearl of the
Cinquecento" (the 16th century) for its renown as a valuable centre of
the Renaissance.
The positioning of the hotel is unique for its beauty and offers guests an
exquisite, 360 panoramic view that includes Montepulciano, Lakes
Montepulciano, Chiusi and Trasimeno, and the Valdichiana to Cortona and
beyond…..Wrapped in the green of the countryside surrounding the hotel, our
guests have the opportunity to rediscover some of the old values that are
lost in the everyday rush of modern life - such as sitting still to listen
to the wind or taking a leisurely walk while enjoying the harmony of sounds
and colours in nature.
The hotel offers a lovely pool with
hydromassage that's surrounded by woods and fruit trees. We're one hour by
car or train from Siena, Florence, Perugia and Arezzo and only two hours
from Rome. This central location makes the hotel an ideal alternative not
only for individual, cultural and "enogastronomical" tourists, but also for
small groups that are touring the major Tuscan cities such as Siena and
Florence. One can spend the night in the hotel, visit Montepulciano and
taste the famous Vino Nobile in some of the wine cellars, dine on a good
plate of pici and a succulent steak of Chianina beef then leave after
breakfast the next morning to tour the cities. This relaxed schedule allows
the discerning tourist to escape from the usual organized itineraries and
discover the beauty of authentic Tuscan towns and villages in which it's
still possible to savour the genuine scents and flavours of our beautiful
region. And not to forget that our prices are much more reasonable than
those in the big cities. |
