“Abiate qui dicitur grassus”:
this sentence was found in the will of the Archbishop Ariberto d’Intimiano
(1304). It is the oldest testimony of the name of our city and it has
inspired the name of our bed & breakfast.
Abbiategrasso is certainly
one of the most interesting and welcoming cities of the Provincia di Milano.
It is 25 km from the centre of Milan and 30 minutes by car from the new Fair
of Milan. Besides the city of Milan, it is also easy to reach the beautiful
cities of Pavia and Vigevano and to enjoy the Park of the River Ticino with
his natural itineraries. The cycling ways along the Naviglio Grande and the
Naviglio di Bereguardo are starting from the city and allow to discover the
charming Lombard countryside and also to reach by bike the centre of Milan.
Our bed & breakfast is in a
modern house more or less 20 minutes walking from the city centre and just a
few minutes from the cycling ways along the Navigli. Our guests will be
accommodated in a wide bedroom with two / four beds with a private bath with
shower in a bright basement flat. In winter breakfast will be served in our
kitchen while in summer it will be served in our garden with flowers and
fruit plants.
