THE
HOTEL
Hotel "La Praia" is located in Zambrone (a stones’ throw
from Tropea) where white beaches, crystal-clear water, inlets modelled by
the winds and the currents, and centuries-old traditions surface with vigour
and where myths and legends interweave...
These qualities all represent the essence of what is
known as the “Costa degli Dei" (Coast of the Gods). A water paradise
where uncontaminated nature and granite reefs, that often take the shape of
dragons or mythological creatures, draw the visitor into a world far removed
from reality, a world of smells, spectacular light effects, and images that
evoke legends and stimulate peace in our senses.
This is all
accompanied by the friendliness of the Barbieri family that runs Hotel La
Praia, which was built in 1975. The jewel in the crown of our hotel is the
famous kitchen that can satisfy the most demanding of palates, from Fileja
to Calabrian to national and even vegetarian cuisine upon demand. |

ROOMS
The
bedrooms all have double beds (third beds or bunk-beds can be
added), private bathrooms, air conditioning and satellite TV. For
families we can offer comfortable mini-apartments which have
adjoining rooms with or without kitchens for those special needs and
still with the hotel formula.
SERVICES
The
recently built restaurant is large and very welcoming, and you will
also find TV room, veranda overlooking the sea, a videogames corner
and a bar. We offer private parking at the
hotel and on the seafront 300m away where you will find the “la
Praia" Lido with bar-café and services such as: umbrellas –
deckchair – sunbeds – pedalo - canoes etc.. which are constantly
guarded by qualified staff.
We offer all of the above accompanied by the daily sunset, where the
horizon shows the silhouettes of the both the Eolie Islands and
Stromboli with it’s waft of smoke that rises up to the sky before
disappearing and that will make you dream... What else can we say!

REGULATIONS
Bookings
are accepted after a minimum payment of 30% of the total amount
(for a minimum of 1 week) and 50% (for less than a week), the
balance will be paid upon arrival after accepting the rooms, or
the hotel will withhold 100% of the deposit.
No repayments will be due to guests that begin their stay
without paying the bill and decide to interrupt their holiday
for whatever reason. If there are any disputes they will be
judged by the courts in Tropea or Vibo Valentia.
Cancelling your bookings and refunds.
Cancelling
the booking:
- Up to 12 weeks
before arrival you will receive a refund of 100% of your payment.
Up to 6 weeks beforehand the refund will be 50%. Any
cancellation must be sent to the hotel by recorded delivery with
a request for refund at your expense.
- If you fail to
arrive 24 hours after the beginning of your planned stay,
the booking
will be cancelled
and the deposit lost. The same will happen after the non–respect
of the conditions shown above (non-payment of the balance upon
arrival).
- Other rules and
regulations can be found at the reception desk upon arrival (meal
times – rules regarding returning to the hotel at night etc..).
